Post that, efficient operations and maintenance of roads and enhanced service provisions to road users are expected to gain prominence. Multi-modal integration in passenger and freight transport is also expected to pick up. Priorities for the government also include road safety and increasing use of technology. Better utilisation of existing sources of funding and searching for new avenues are of key significance.
